Drydocks World, the service provider to the marine, offshore, oil, gas and renewable energy sectors has been selected="true"  as the winner of the Safety and Quality Award at the Seatrade Maritime Awards Middle East, Indian Subcontinent & Africa 2019. This award recognises the yard as an industry leader focused on prioritising safety and quality.

Drydocks World established the strategy of Zero Harm to people and the environment, to create a safe workplace incorporating industry best practices. Based on the principle of prevention, the yard promotes a culture of Zero Harm through leadership, awareness, employee engagement and risk management. Investment in equipment, safety inspectors, safety training instructors and medical staff in the yard is part of the strategic approach to maintaining high safety standards.

The yard has a dedicated Quality Department to ensure services are delivered with consistent quality excellence. Recently 85 successful audits were conducted by internal and external auditors to assess the effectiveness of all safety and quality management systems. The department continuously monitors project performance to meet targets and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
